About the Author
Denise M. Stefano, CPA, CGMA, MBA, is an assistant professor of accounting and the accounting program chairperson with Mercy College. She has served as president and is a board member for a chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Darrel Surett, CPA, taught accounting, business law, and income tax courses for 25 years as an adjunct professor at Union County College. He is a partner in the CPA firm of Barry Surett & Co.

If you can beast this book, you will pass

the questions are tough, structured like the actual exam questions, and come with answers+explanations. This is a great way to help prepare for the test. If you're lazy and having a hard time committing yourself to studying with an exam prep book for 2-3 hours, this book is great because you can do 4-5 questions everyday while you're pooping and still get a lot of information from thinking through the question and going through the answer explanation

I was kind of disappointed with this book

I was kind of disappointed with this book. I used the Financial one from this series and loved it. REG went a bit differently. I found out that the tax law in the 2015 version is from June 2014, this book was published in August 2014, I believe. The law was current at the time of publishing but not at the end of 2015 when I purchased it. From the timing, it looks like MG Hill tries to keep up, but I could fail my test because of this. The last two testing windows of 2015 tested current year tax law. I sent an email to MG Hill and did not get a response. I'll be looking for a way to get written MCQ since I am a GenX learner and don't like MCQ online. Bummer!
