For the last three decades, Eric Lee has written short mystery and suspense stories, providing the "leeway" for murder. His individual stories have been published in a multiple locations, including Ascent Aspiration Magazine and Burst Literary E-zine. He has compiled his favorite short stories and published them in books as short story collections. Murder in a Country Town and other stories is his first publication of a short story collection. Good clean writing!

Besides being an interesting read that keeps you guessing until the end, this books has one extra characteristic that makes it worth reading. After you are done you can pass them on to your kids because there is nothing objectionable in them. No language and no perversity. There is a murder of course, but certainly nothing graphic. Eric's short stories are my favorite. He has a special talent to condense an enitre novel into just a couple of pages. It's fun!

Check out Eric Lee's book

This is an awesome book. The cool thing about the stories is that they really draw you in and keep you guessing as to what will happen next. Eric is a very clever writer, the twists and turns in his stories kept me guessing until the very end. And the coolest part was that most of the stories are so good that I re-read them again to catch all the clues and nuances that I missed the first time. You really appreciate an author like that who can pack so much in a story and write it so well that it's just as interesting and engaging the second time around. He's really good.

Great Book!

Eric Lee's short stories are extremely witty. I enjoyed this book during the passing hours of my daily train commute and they were the perfect length, allowing me to enjoy each story from start to finish. The author has an uncanny ability of adding twists to each of his stories and after reading several, you will find yourself trying to guess the ending. On more than one occasion I found myself re-reading the story, just to figure out which clues I had missed. I highly recommend this book!
